Age 77, passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2013. Pat was born October 8, 1935 to Carl and Dorothy (Matthews) Dorer. She was a active member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Lansing and retired from Michigan National Bank, Fraud Division. Pat was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Paul Dorer; brother and sister-in-law, George and Betty Nicholas. Surviving are her husband, Leo; children, Stephanie (Stephen) Teall, their children, Chad (Hope) Bennett and children, Jacob, Cheyenne and Chad, Jr.; their daughter, Brandy Teall and her children, Kayla Walsh, Aidan and Isabella Perdue; son, John Nicholas and his daughter, Chastitie (Ed) Fouchey and children, Jay and Kylie Fouchey; John's sons, Brent, Nathan and Michael Nicholas; son, Gregory (Kathy) Nicholas and their daughter, Courtney (Matt) Riggins and their children, Hunter and Parker Riggins; son, William (Judy) Nicholas; their daughter, Sabrina (Michael) Hayhoe, their son, Justin Nicholas and children, James and Lona; his daughter, Jessica (James) Martin and children, Noah and Taylor; his daughter, Marilyn Hall and her son, Dennis Malcolm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, 11:00 a.m., at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, Lansing with Rev. Fr. John Byers as celebrant. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Monday from 2-4 p.m. at the Palmer, Bush and Jensen Family Funeral Homes, Lansing Chapel and Tuesday from 10 am until service time at the church. A rosary will be prayed Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Capital Area Humane Society or the American Diabetes Association in memory of Patricia Nicholas.
