Age 69, passed away, Monday, February 25, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. Cheryl was born February 25, 1944, in Lansing, Michigan the daughter of Louis and Joyce (Wing) Ross. She was a resident of Holt for 25 years before moving to Williamston 4 years ago. Cheryl loved gardening, cooking and the outdoors, especially soaking up the rays of the sun. She was very artistic, Cheryl enjoyed making porcelain dolls and many other crafts. A loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend will be dearly missed by all that knew her. Cheryl was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce and infant son, Timothy. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, William; children, Deborah (David) Perez, Todd (Joanie) Birdsall, Jon Birdsall, Sherrie (Ted) Arnold, Annette Birdsall, Mary Jo Birdsall and Michelle (Aaron) Chandler; grandchildren, Heather, Kaylene, Mark, David, Julie, Dakota, Domino and Tapper; great grandchildren, Hayden, Breylen and Brantlee. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and many friends. Funeral Services will be held, Friday, March 1, 2013, 11:00 AM at the Palmer, Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Home, Holt Chapel with Pastor Doug Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends, Thursday, February 28, 2013, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the funeral home and then once again one hour prior to the service on Friday. Memorial contributions can be made to South Church, Sparrow Hospice or Red Cedar Oncology in memory of Cheryl.
